Game 4: Northeastern vs. James Madison - Halftime Update

> Live on-location in Richmond, VA at the CAA Tournament

Well so much for keeping pace with your opponent. James Madison had made it a game midway through the first half while Northeastern was in the midst of a shooting slump. The close game was short lived though as the respective teams shooting percentages started to diverge. As it stands now JMU is shooting under 40% while the Huskies are at 54% and leading 38-25.

The Dukes were really taken out of their rhythm by several tough calls, including two offensive fouls. Its probably good that the half came when it did because I’m pretty sure that the JMU pep band as well as several fans were more than likely ready to hurtle themselves onto the floor and inflict bodily harm against the men in stripes.

Sophomore Manny Adako has gotten things done for Northeastern, leading all scorers with 10 points thus far. NU was first back out on the floor for the halftime shoot around and looked to be pretty loose. Madison just made their way back out and looks somewhat sluggish, as if they are going through the motions. I’m sure coach Dean Keener gave them a good talking to in the locker room, we’ll see how they respond in the opening few minutes of the second half. Just two minutes to go until we are ready to go here for the final 20 minutes of the night!
