Alrighty, back from the press conference, VCU head coach Anthony Grant was very pleased with his teams effort in the victory. Larry Sanders was an absolute monster, finishing with 14 points, a career high 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. The freshman is tremendously modest though, when asked about his amazing game, he simply replied that he was happy his team won and that he was able to be out there playing the game he loved.
In all, the team that was supposed to win this one did. It wasn’t always pretty, but the Rams played solid defense and got the job done. Sorry this is a short one, but our next game is about to get underway!
