Game 6: Old Dominion vs. William & Mary - First Half Update

> Live on-location in Richmond, VA at the CAA Tournament

Saying that William & Mary has started cold is like saying Kenny George has a pretty good reach (a little joke for all you Big South fans). The Tribe had just two points in the games opening 9 minutes and Old Dominion looked prime to run away early. However, the Monarchs got stuck at nine points for a while, and two 3’s in a minute got W&M right back in it.

As it stands now at the 7:44 mark ODU is clinging to a 13-11 lead. It has not been pretty basketball, much like last game. Gerald Lee has gotten things going early, leading all scorers with 8 points on an array of nice finishes inside, and one good looking mid-range hook shot. The Monarchs definitely seem to be going after it a little more but they cant get their shots to fall.

The crowd is great, it seems pretty split between the two teams, so there is never a moment where things really quite down at this point. We’ll see how the last seven minutes or so pan out and I’ll be back at the half!
