Game 6: Old Dominion vs. William & Mary - Second Half Update
> Live on-location in Richmond, VA at the CAA Tournament
The more I watch William & Mary the more I can’t help rooting for them. This is a well coached, smart basketball team, that relies on great ball movement and good shot selection to win their games. There is no doubt that ODU is a more athletic team, but the Tribe is simply picking them apart. In particular I have been impressed with Laimis Kisilius still who has 16 points, already well above his average of 10.4 points. He's been scoring on an array of pull up jumpers and nice up and under moves.
As it stands W&M has a 40-34 lead at the 12 minute media timeout, ODU has been kept in the game by a few shots from the perimeter, but you can tell who is in control right now.
During the timeout the ODU mascot, a Lion, came over to taunt the Tribe student section by bending over and doing toe touches with his back to them. One particularly boisterous and bearded W&M student let the Lion have it. I wont repeat what was said.
Alrighty, here’s to a great last 11 minutes of basketball before dinner!
