Game 7: UNC-Wilmington vs. Delaware - First Half Update

Herb Courtney came to play tonight. He has 13 of Delaware’s 19 points through the games first 12 minutes. The senior has hit on an array of pull up jumpers from mid-range and had a few nice drives and finishes around the rim in traffic.
The UNCW bigs have come out firing as well. Kuljanin and Hendley have combined for 12 points so far thanks to some nice hi-low passing action and hard nosed basketball on the interior.
As it stands, the Seahawks lead 25-19 at the 7:27 mark of the first half, but this game has been very even thus far. It has also been pretty scrappy with Delaware already in the bonus with plenty of time to go.
Also I was wrong about the size of the crowd. Just before tip off a large contingency of Seahawk fans arrive sporting their teal apparel. I’d say about two-thirds of the lower bowl is now full of enthusiastic Wilmington fans. See everyone at the half!
