Wow! What a game! With 15 seconds left and Ole Miss down by three, they give the ball to David Huertas, who at the point was 7-11 from three. He shoots for the tie, air-balls, but gets fouled. Three free throw attempts later, and this game is tied! A desperation shot was too late from Georgia and we are headed to Overtime! What a great way to end the day.
Dwayne Curtis is stepping it up here in overtime for the Rebels, making two layups along with the foul. If he had made the two free throws, it'd be a four point game but instead, Ole Miss is only up two with two to go. Ole Miss misses a 3 pointer, and Georgia goes down to the other end where Dave Bliss has an opportunity for a three point play. SWISH! Georgia 91, Ole Miss 90 with 1:15 to play in OT. A steal by Billy Humphrey for Georgia and he is fouled. He makes the first... He makes the second. 93-90 Georgia with 30 seconds left, Ole Miss' ball. TIMEOUT. Well, it doesn't get any better than this, guys. Two SEC Teams battling it out for the right to advance to the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament (and a bid to the Big Dance, for the Rebs). If I'm Andy Kennedy, I'm getting the ball to Huertas and letting him get his best 3-point attempt. Let's see what they decide to do.

So now its 93-92 Georgia up with the ball and 15 seconds remaining. Hey Ole Miss, the Selection Committee is watching. Time to show them what you got. The Rebels waste five seconds fouling, but they get the guy they want. Sundiata Gaines goes to the stripe for UGA. Makes one, makes two. Ten seconds left, Rebels down 3, one last possession. Chris Warren shoots a three for them, misses but is FOULED! AGAIN! 5 seconds remaining. The first- Good. The second- Good. The third- Good! Boy, how clutch is Ole Miss' free throw shooting?! I guess they wanna go to the NCAA Tournament after all. Ok, 5 seconds left and this game is tied, UGA ball. Dave Bliss shoots a six-footer...GOOD! At the buzzer!!! UGA wins it, 97-95. One of the best first round games I have ever experienced!
