Georgia State vs. William & Mary: Second Half Update

> Live on-location in Richmond, VA at the CAA Tournament

Well my little hunch about a lack of shooting around at the half for GSU was only partially correct. The Panthers certainly have not looked as impressive this half, turning the ball more than they did in the first half, and their shots aren’t falling with as much consistency. A lot of the credit is due to William & Mary who has really stepped up the defensive pressure. Despite all of this though, Georgia State still leads it 43-38 at the 7:52 mark.

The Tribe refuse to go away though. Every time GSU looks set to make a run, W&M comes back with a big play to swing the momentum again, be it a block by athletic sophomore Danny Sumner (who just through down a nice two-handed jam as I type this) or a tough offensive rebound by another front court player. Of course for the Tribe it doesn’t hurt that their fans have turned out in droves for in the in-state game.

This one is clearly going down to the wire as I had originally anticipated, with the possibility of our first upset of the weekend!
