Game 7 Final: UNC-Wilmington 82 - Delaware 59

> Live on-location in Richmond, VA at the CAA Tournament

Well UNC-Wilmington left little doubt in this one, pulling away in the final frame of the game to eventually prevail 82-59. While waiting for coach Benny Moss’s post game press conference I overheard another member of the media comment and say that the Seahawks were a “offensive juggernaut”; I’d say that’s a fair assessment. Wilmington had five players break double figures, and the backcourt duo of Daniel Fountain and Chad Tomko combined for 35 points on 8-15 shooting.

As much as I could sit here and analyze tirelessly, in the end, Delaware just had no answer for the Seahawks. The pressure defense of UNCW held the Blue Hens to 37.9% shooting and that was the story of the game.

Wilmington looked very good and they will be a handful in the semi-finals tomorrow. But now I have to get ready for the fourth and final game of the day, so check back momentarily for my preview.
