Getting Set for Day Two
> Live on-location in Atlanta, GA at the SEC Tournament
Good afternoon everyone! Day two is about to get underway at the 2008 SEC Tournament, and I couldn't be more excited! After a day of four great college basketball games yesterday, today's games should only get better. Tip-off for Tennessee and South Carolina is in about 15 minutes, and this place is starting to fill up. I know one thing and one thing only right now... There are a LOT of Tennessee fans here. A LOT. They definitely outnumber the UK fans right now, which if you've ever been to an SEC Tournament, you know is hard to do. Some other games going on right now that will impact the S-Curve and Bubble situation:
Wisconsin 26, Michigan 18 at the Half..... Wisconsin playing for a possible two seed, more likely a three.... Michigan playing for an automatic bid if they win the Big Ten Tournament.
North Carolina 32, Florida State 28..... UNC playing for the overall number one seed in the NCAA Tournament.... FSU gets into the field of 64 with a win today.
Texas 13, Oklahoma State 13 with 13 to go in the first half.... Texas playing for a possible one seed... OkSt playing for a chance at the NCAA Tournament, they are on the bubble right now.
A minute ago, all of the Tennessee fans started standing up and cheering and I looked down from the press box to see what it was- Bruce Pearl had come out... Sorry folks, no orange blazer today.
I'll be back at the half to an update... Enjoy it!
