UC Irvine (43-15-1) at Wichita St. (53-20) Noon (ESPN2), 1 p.m. (ESPN), 12:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. (ESPN or ESPN2)

Even though names like Miami, Florida St., Texas, and others are absent from this weekend, it's still going to be an exciting weekend of baseball. It's only good for the sport for names like Irvine, Louisville, and Michigan to reach this point, and it's also good to see old names like Mississippi St., Oklahoma St., and Wichita St. back with a chance to return to Omaha, where all three were regulars in the 80s and 90s.

If you can't make it to a park somewhere this weekend, tune in on TV. And, if your team is playing on ESPNU, and you don't have it, catch the action on the radio, either from your radio at home or online. Either way, don't miss out on what will continue to be an exciting (and sure to be full of more surprises) postseason.
