Down goes Texas...

UC Irvine finished an impressive run through the Round Rock Regional just moments ago, taking a 9-6 decision in a game that was postponed yesterday and completed in about an hour this afternoon. The Anteaters will advance to face the winner of the Wichita Regional and could actually host next week's Super Regional if Arizona were to knock off the Shockers.

Elsehwere, North Carolina has just rallied for two runs in the ninth to win their regional over Western Carolina, while defending national champ Oregon State is trying to make it to the title round themselves to take on Virginia and is currently winning 5-2 in the 8th.

In the Columbia, MO final, Missouri fell behind 8-0 after just one inning, rallied a bit, but is now down 12-5 in the 4th.

The only other game underway is the Coastal Carolina/Clemson game in Myrtle Beach. Clemson is up 2-0 in the 2nd in a game CCU needs to win to force a second matchup with the Tigers.
