Mississippi St. roars back to take the lead after six.

After Easley's single drove in McCaskill to make it 5-3, first baseman Mitch Moreland drove a fly ball to straightaway center that carried, carried, carried just over the fence for his ninth homer of the season, to make it 5-5.

MSU kept it going, getting a double from Brandon Turner, then getting Brian LaNinfa on due to an error by the second baseman. That spelled the end of the day for yesterday's fourth overall pick.

Stephen Clyne came in and got a double-play chopper from Russ Sneed, but it was good enough to score Turner and give MSU their first lead.

The crowd is definitely back in it, and it's a historic crowd. The crowd of 12,620 is the biggest crowd ever to see a super regional game, whether on-campus or not. It breaks a record of 11,870 set by LSU and Tulane in 2001.
