Wow, can Alabama shoot! Stat of the half: 3 point field goals: Alabama 8-15, MSU 1-10.
What about the non-3 point shooting? As in 2 point field goals: Alabama 4-15, MSU 9-19.
Mississippi State is getting the ball inside to their two big men, Charles Rhodes and Jarvis Varnado. The two are a combined 9-13 with 21 points. The rest of State's team is a combined 1-16 with 8 points. Eventually, you'd have to think the 3's will start falling for the Bulldogs.
Alabama is relying deeply on their 3 point shot to win this game. While they are shooting 53 percent from 3, they are only 24 percent from the rest of the field. Mykal Riley is shooting lights out, just as he did yesterday against Florida. He is 3-7 from 3, and leads the Tide with 13 points.
