My Tournament Predictions
In the first round I only expect there to be one "upset" and that is the first game being played.
I like South Carolina to beat LSU, Vanderbilt to double Auburn's score (if not triple it), Florida to just squeak by Alabama, and Ole Miss to cruise past Georgia.
In the second round, I again am only going with one "upset".
I like top-seeded Tennessee to beat South Carolina, Arkansas to get by Vanderbilt in the final seconds, Mississippi State to take down Florida, and Ole Miss to upset Kentucky in the final game of the day.
In the semifinals, I can't expect anything out-of-the-ordinary happening.
I would place my money on Tennessee getting by Arkansas, and Mississippi State beating Ole Miss, leaving us with the top two seeds left in the Finals.
In the championship game, I expect the volunteers from Tennessee to beat the Mississippi State bulldogs and claim a one seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Well, lunch is starting and Dave Odom and the Gamecocks are fixing to have their press conference so I'm out for now.
