Louisville Shuts Out OK State 9-0

A sold out crowd at Patterson Stadium saw Zack Pitts and the Louisville Cardinals shut out the powerful Cowboy offense 9-0. They also saw Louisville come 1 win away from a trip to Omaha for the College World Series. Starter Zach Pitts threw 7 innings of 4 hit ball while Gavin Logsdon threw the final 2 frames. On the day, Louisville had 13 hits, including homeruns from Isiah Howes, Chris Dominguez, and Pete Rodriguez. Tomorrow, Louisville will have a shot to make it to the College World Series.

Tonight, South Carolina plays at #3 North Carolina while Texas A&M will play #2 Rice.
