Tornado Update
> Live on-location in Atlanta, GA at the SEC Tournament
Well, I'm out of downtown Atlanta and back at my hotel finally. I gotta tell you, the ATL is a mess. The Dome is damaged pretty bad on the upper deck, and the World Congress Center next door got hit by the tornado very seriously. I walked over after the Mississippi State - Alabama game and saw that the INSIDE of the building is flooded. There is a waterfall on the escalator inside. It is really something amazing to see.
Anyways, the UGA- UK game has been postponed, if you haven't heard. I probably heard a million complaints from fans, mostly Cats fans, about how they should've just played the game tonight. I disagree. I think they made a wise choice, since it was already midnight, PLUS the building is unsafe right now. I should know so- I was sitting on press row when the tornado struck and a bolt from the upper deck about the size of a hockey puck landed three feet away from me.
It's hard to get focused on basketball when something like this happens, but I'm sure gonna try. The SEC/NCAA have not released the time for tomorrow's games yet, but I figure it will look something like this:
1:00 Kentucky vs. Georgia (Round 2)
7:30 Tennessee vs. Arkansas (Semifinals)
9:45 Miss State vs. UK-UGA winner (Semifinals)
They have to play all of the semifinal round tomorrow, because they have to play the championship game on sunday at one, to get it in before the Selection Show at six.
Speaking of Selection Show, I'll have an updated S-Curve and Bubble tomorrow morning!
But until then, get some sleep, and recover from today's March Madness.
