Day one ends with a third #1 going down...

The game lasted well into Saturday morning across much of the country, but after a relatively upset-free Friday afternoon, the evening provided a number of huge shockers, capped off with Fresno State's take-down of top-seeded San Diego. The Bulldogs joined Illinois-Chicago (over Long Beach State) and New Orleans (over Wichita State) as the three #4 seeds to take down #1s on opening day. Just four #3 seeds were victorious over #2s on Friday, meaning there were a total of 7 "upsets" throughout the course of the day.
