Three early games get underway.

Mississippi State and Louisville look to book their tickets to Omaha today. The Bulldogs put themselves a win away from Omaha with an 8-6 win over Clemson yesterday. Louisville did the same against Oklahoma St., winning 9-0.

UC Irvine and Wichita St. open their series at the Shockers' Eck Stadium.

In Starkville, MSU strikes early, getting a run in the top of the first. In Louisville, the Cowboys go down in order against Louisville's Justin Marks in the top of the first. That game can be seen on ESPNU. And, in Wichita, Irvine gets a runner to third, but doesn't score in the top of the first. That game can be seen by some on ESPN2, along with the Mississippi St.-Clemson game.
