Trio advance to Supers.
Ole Miss was the first team to punch their ticket to the super regionals, claiming the Oxford Regional with a 21-13 win over Sam Houston St. in the championship game. Ole Miss will play the winner of the Tempe Regional, which will be decided by #5 national seed Arizona St. and Nebraska.
#2 national seed Rice was the second team to punch their ticket, claiming the Houston Regional with a 3-1 win over TCU. Rice will play the winner of the College Station Regional. Texas A&M leads Louisiana 4-0 in the top of the 8th. UL is the winner's bracket team.
Mississippi St. was the first non #1 to claim a regional, by sweeping through the Tallahassee Regional. The #2 seeded Bulldogs knocked off #6 national seed and host FSU 3-0 yesterday and 9-4 today to advance to their first super regional since 2001.
