Game 8 Final: George Mason 63 - Northeastern 52

> Live on-location in Richmond, VA at the CAA Tournament

Well Northeastern made their push but it was George Mason’s night as the Patriots came away with a 63-52 win. No surprise to see Will Thomas and Folarin Campbell combine for 35 of the teams points. Congratulations also need to be extended as both players surpassed 1,500 career points in tonight’s win.

Defensively GMU was just too tough for the Huskies tonight, although they did allow a tremendous number of trips to the free throw line, something Coach Jim Larranaga said they will have to work on in their semi-final game tomorrow.

I’m going to keep this post short because I am now in my 11th hour and my hands need a break, but also I’ll have more in my thoughts of the day segment when I return to the hotel later.

So it was another long day at the Richmond Coliseum, but I’m signing off for now, check back for more news and notes later tonight!
