More than three hours before game time, I'm getting the feeling today's game may be an instant classic. Illinois State's suffocating defense has been its strength all season, and the Redbirds will attempt to defend Drake's barrage of three-pointers. ISU relies heavily on Osiris Eldridge for offense, and his production hasn't disappointed this season. Meanwhile, four Drake players average double figures in scoring, and the Bulldogs will shoot the ball from the perimeter all day long. We'll see if Drake can heat up from outside today against a tough ISU defense, but no matter what, the Bulldogs will continue to shoot.
Drake obviously is a lock for the NCAA tournament, and I think ISU is in great shape after winning two games already in the MVC tournament.
