Game 10: Semifinals - UNC Wilmington vs. George Mason - First Half Update

This game started very back and forth with both teams pretty much even, after a Dre Smith three pointer and a nice put back by Will Thomas, George Mason has taken a hold of the momentum and currently holds a 22-16 lead at the 6:50 mark.
Not surprising that Kuljanin and T.J. Carter have gotten it going early for the Seahawks. Kuljanin and Hendley have tried running the hi-low game that they had so much success with yesterday. So far it’s only been successful one time, resulting in an easy lay up for Kuljanin.
It’s fun to see the two contrasting styles of play, Mason clearly wants to get out and run, whereas the Seahawks have no qualms about working the ball around in the half court set.
The George Mason pep band is back at it again and gets major points from me for their rendition of “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire. The Patriot fans have also started to wake up a little bit, they seemed groggy for the first few minutes, but now I think they realize they’re at a semifinal game.
